The documentation of projects plays an important role in project management. If eto Project is positioned as a central application, it is well maintained and used. New employees may use it to get acquainted with the current projects, project manager find visit reports, emails and other information. Development managers may read the specification in case of a complaint. The documentation that is associated with a project can thus be found completely and fast be it for a current or completed project.

Functions

• The central element is the Project Master document: It contains all basic data like project title, responsible persons, customer contact, start and end, daily rate a short description and the status.
• All sort of Project Detail documents may be created for a project master: general documentation, visit reports, versions etc.
• Milestone documents define partial tasks of a project. The data may be transferred to the personal calendars if it is thus defined in the user profile.
• Access Control: When a project master is created it is defined which users/groups may read and/or edit the project master and the corresponding project detail documents.
• You may mark certain projects as very important. They are distinguished in views through a (configurable) color.
• In order to not lose the overview you may add projects in which you work regularly to a view My Projects (Tools --> Add to My Projects),
• The application eto Project is associated with eto Address: The address data of project customers is taken from this address management module.
